Greetings from Dr. Neal
Dear Moffat County School District community,
Another school year is in the books, and what a year it's been.
We've been so proud of our students as we watched them grow, learn, achieve, and 109 of them graduate as the Class of 2025. These Bulldogs are moving toward lives of thriving and continual growth, and we at the district are so grateful for the chance you permit us to be a part of their journey.
I'm so grateful for our teachers and staff this school year. They have worked so hard to provide the best possible environment for student growth and achievement. They have worked tirelessly all year long to ensure opportunities for students were abounding, high-quality, and accessible to all. I love working with this incredible team of spectacular educators and supporters.
I want to encourage the community to remind our students that learning never stops. If they're hitting summer vacation before returning to our schools, remind them to read, visit our bookmobile, get outdoors, learn something every day, and grow on their own so they can be ready to hit the ground running in August when we welcome them back to school.
I also encourage everyone to watch out for these young people. We can't claim the benefit of being responsible for their safety and nurturing for many hours of their weekdays during the summer, so it falls to the community at large to take on that duty. Help us bring these kids back healthy, happy, and ready to learn.
Thank you, Moffat County, for another wonderful school year. We've got plenty of hard work to do to be ready for next year, and rest assured that work is already underway. Enjoy your summer, and we'll see you in August!
Gratefully,
Dr. Mathew Neal,
Superintendent of Schools
Moffat County School District
